IPME – Downtown Container Park Grand Opening in Las Vegas (December 5, 2013)

The scheduled grand opening of Container Park in the long anticipated rejuvenation of Downtown Las Vegas is set for Thursday, December 5th, just in time for holiday shopping. Local residents are eager to explore the brand new development.

On grand opening day there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony by Mayor Carolyn, G. Goodman, of Las Vegas. Container Park is a 56,000 square-foot project that was created throughout with prefabricated shipping containers. Most of the shipping containers that were used to create the downtown project were provided by IPME.

Container Park’s modified cubes are surely a site to see, from the retail spaces to the first ever three story container-elevator, everywhere you turn is unique. This goes to show how IPME is not only using its containers for transporting goods, but also for combining modernism and functionality to create ingenious projects, such as Container Park.

The International Port Management Enterprise (IPME) even has its own office space at Container Park located at 707 Fremont Street, Suite 2270 Las Vegas, NV 89101 – The space serves as a showroom and displays past projects that IPME has been apart of. At the showroom people will be able to interact via iPad to explore IPME’s website to learn more about available services, in addition to sale or lease of new and used shipping containers.

Container Park offers a fun and unique shopping atmosphere for its patrons. Most noticeably is the 40 foot-long steel praying mantis that occasionally shoots out flames, and greets you at the entrance. It’s definitely a different type of scene for Downtown Las Vegas now, filled with shopping, gambling, escapades, and now modified shipping containers, making Container Park truly one of a kind.
