Container Park is an outdoor shipping container shopping mall and entertainment venue located in Las Vegas, NV. The two year long project was intended to revitalize Downtown Las Vegas. The grand opening was held in December 2013, which included a ribbon cutting ceremony with Las Vegas Mayor, Carolyn G. Goodman. The modular construction project was supplied by IPME using modified shipping container architecture creating a modern, unique look. The 56,000 sq ft project includes fashion retail shipping containers, a barbershop shipping container, various restaurant shipping containers and bar shipping containers, also an observation tower, VIP area, an immersion dome, a large children’s playground area, and a built-in stage for live performances and public concerts. Additionally, there is a customized three story shipping container elevator adjoining the retail spaces. With just under 40 shipping container businesses that will be operating at Container Park, the types of businesses you will find there definitely match the unique atmosphere. Container Park is among one of IPME’s most impressive modular construction shipping container projects.
