When S.H.I.E.L.D. needed us, we answered the call—no Chitauri invasion or Ultron-bots necessary.
IPME worked together with Marvel and Hero Ventures to craft this amazing mobile interactive attraction, which was made up of nine cargo containers and a standing, 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic projection dome; a state-of-the-art motion ride; augmented and virtual reality in multi-person gaming and simulations; interactive touch screens; multiple themed cafes; a mega store, and more!
About the Marvel Experience Shipping Containers
The project was made to resemble a temporary S.H.I.E.L.D. set-up (presumably for dark times such as Earth-threatening disasters), or a “Mobile Command Center,” as the facility itself stood approximately six stories high. Inside the center, the connected domes led guests through many different attractions.
“[The project was] central to the singular story line that pulses through The Marvel Experience and are enhanced by state-of-the-art design applications and graphic elements,” said Doug Schaer, COO of Hero Ventures. “The interior feature[d] an exaggerated comic-style utilizing projected high-tech imagery, amazing fabricated set pieces and virtual simulations to advance the story. Our guests [were able to interact] directly with multiple Marvel Super Heroes, as well as members of S.H.I.E.L.D., as [they took] their place in the Marvel Universe.”
The Marvel Experience Tour traveled through Phoenix, Dallas, San Diego, and Philadelphia. On its way, the project stopped for weeks at a time to allow attendees to experience the full marvel of the Marvel experience (puns, anyone?).

Although it was a serious undertaking, we had a blast working on this project and feel privileged to lend our expertise to it. The Marvel Experience brought together the best of creativity, business, animation, interactive technology, and the live event space.
Hero Ventures’ CEO, Rick Licht, praised this kind of experience as the future of themed entertainment. What do you think?
