Shipping containers are not only being used for shipping products or for storage, but are now being used to create affordable and modular classrooms for our children. More schools are creating shipping containers classrooms and the response from the students and faculty has been very positive. The fact that these shipping containers provide a transportable pop up classroom means that if the school ever needed to relocate it would be very simple to move the classrooms to that new location, at any time. Waldorf School in Orange County, California is one of the schools that is now using shipping containers for their institution expansion. All of the shipping containers being used at this school are made out of recycled products which also shows the school’s caution for the protection of the environment. It is amazing to see how a simple shipping container can be completely transformed and how affordable it can be. Once these shipping containers are modified they can provide any institution with beautiful spaces.
